Clays, blends and botanicals
Multani Mitti — Fuller's Earth — is a natural clay and mineral raw material rather than a botanical, so it has no botanical name. It is supplied as a fine clay powder for face packs and cleansing formulations. Alongside it we supply herbal Ubtan-style blends, hibiscus flower powder for hair and colour-led formulations, and neem leaf powder for cleansing products.
Blends deserve a specific caution. A Kumkumadi-style Ubtan is a formulation, not a single fixed material: composition varies according to the selected formulation and specification, and it must be confirmed before quotation or order. We will not print one universal recipe as though every source makes it identically.
External use and claim discipline
Materials in this range are supplied for external-use cosmetic manufacturing. We make no therapeutic, dermatological or skin-lightening claims about them, and we do not describe them as food or edible grade. Responsibility for the finished product's claims, labelling and regulatory compliance sits with the manufacturer who formulates it.
That restraint is deliberate. Cosmetic buyers are audited on their raw-material paperwork, and a supplier who over-claims on a sales page creates a problem for the buyer later.
Packing, MOQ and private-label support
Clay and blended powders are packed in 25 kg bags, with lined bags for blends. The MOQ for each item is listed on its product page; larger Multani Mitti lots keep landed cost sensible because freight is a big share of a low-value clay. Larger consignments can be scheduled across the month rather than shipped in one lot.
For private-label brands starting a new range, the practical route is a short trial quantity against an agreed specification, then a standing monthly quantity once the formulation is locked. Detailed specification / COA subject to selected grade and supplier availability.
